I could give you a slew of superlatives that describe me, but when it boils down to it there are two words that sum up my unique approach to life and motherhood. Resourceful and Proactive. I have an unquenchable desire to learn and experience new things and then share what I learn with others. I don't have all of the answers, but chances are, I know someone who does or can find it for you. I am my best self when I'm being proactive, especially in my role as a mother to 2 wild and crazy boys.

I consider myself a strategist, an artist, a writer, a creative problem solver, a connector of people, a curious life-long learner, an optimist, a collaborator, a believer, a supporter, a leader.

As I come to terms with finally becoming an adult (yes, I'm in my 30's), I needed a place to put my lessons and discoveries in writing. Grab a cup of coffee and settle in. Or read from your smartphone while you're bouncing a baby on one hip and playing soccer with a rambunctious toddler. I hope that this blog will become an inspiration and reminder to you to hold tight to your own family and find the learning opportunities in every day life. Or maybe just help you feel a little less alone. After all, no one is born with all of the answers. We discover them as we muddle along. It's just more fun to discover them together!
